During 26/8-4/9/2018, Prof. Kim Oanh conducted the research activities of the project “Evidence to Action supplement” Subaward of the PEER project entitled “Assessment of impacts of the emission reduction measures of short-lived climate forcing pollutants on air quality and climate in Southeast Asia” in cooperation with Prof. Hoang Xuan Co of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi. She organized the final dissemination workshop of the project on 4/9/2018 to present the key findings of the project: rice straw pellet production and use in gasifier cookstoves. The workshop was attended by 20 participants from academic, private company, local farmers and other stakeholders who conducted trial use of the fuel-stove system.

She also worked with the FIMO center of the University of Engineering and Technology, VNU, to finalize the TORUS book chapters that she jointly prepares with the FIMO colleagues. She also attended the TORUS Cloud Inauguration Workshop at FIMO in Hanoi. In Ho Chi Minh City she worked with Dr. Hung and his colleagues in NLU to finalize the TORUS book chapter “Environmental quality management with applications of cloud computing” that she jointly prepares with the NLU colleagues. This is a part of the ERASMUS TORUS project which AIT is a partner.
