A three-member delegation from North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) visited AIT’s School of Environment, Resources and Development on Thursday 10, January 2019. The delegates were Ms. Zhao Dongmei, Director, Office of Disciplines and Development / Office of Double-First Class Initiative, Dr. Xing Ju, Associate Professor, School of Energy Power and Mechanical Engineering, and Ms. Qianqian Li, Coordinator, Office of International Affairs.

The delegates met with Prof. Rajendra Shrestha, Dean of School of Environment, Resources and Development, Assoc. Prof. Matthew N. Dailey, officiating Dean of School of Engineering and Technology, Assoc. Prof. Jai. G. Singh, Program Chair of EECC Department’s Energy Program and Assist. Prof. Dr. Wenchao Xue, faculty member of EECC Department’s Environmental Engineering and Management Program.

They discussed the possibility of student and faculty exchange program, research & partnership, joint hosting of workshops and conferences, dual degree programs and fast-track 5-year Bachelor-Master and/or Master-PhD degree programs.

NCEPU is a public university under the Ministry of Education of P.R. China. It has two campuses in Beijing and Baoding with student strength of more than 31,000 students pursuing undergrad, masters and doctoral degrees. NCPEU is member university of Project 211 and Project 985 in Discipline Innovation Platform.
